With a strong passion for travel and exploration, I found myself leaving my home in Germany in my early 20s to discover more of my father's country, the USA. I ended up living on the island of Maui, in Hawaii, for nearly four years, where I discovered my calling for Massage Therapy.

Following my graduation from Maui School of Therapeutic Massage (MSTM) in 2013, my career led me to work mainly in the healthcare field, as opposed to the general wellness-oriented setting found in most Spas.

After leaving the beautiful islands of Hawaii, I have gone on to gain experience working in Alaska, Michigan, and Idaho for the past 10 years in several medical settings. I have gained extensive experience aiding my clients in their recovery from sports injuries, post-surgery recovery, motor vehicle accident (MVA) related injuries, cancer recovery, etc. My work led me to treat various conditions including whiplash, neck and shoulder tension, scar tissue reduction, chemo detox, increasing range of motion, chronic pain conditions, headaches, piriformis syndrome (aka false sciatica), thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel, and lower back pain, - to name a few. I have recently become certified in pregnancy and postpartum massage, helping mothers on their magical journey of bringing a new life to this world while acknowledging the toll it takes on their bodies, and assisting in preparation for labor and recovery.

My work is a general blend of modalities, which I have learned and improved upon over the years of furthering my education and depth of knowledge of my trade. Each session is tailored to the unique conditions and goals of my client. I believe in an evidence-based approach, yet balance my work with an appreciation for a holistic understanding of the body-mind-spirit connection. Currently, I am focused on adding abdominal massage techniques to my toolbox, to aid and assist the digestive system, as I believe that an optimized nutritional function is the foundation upon which all our health rests.

Being a passionate permaculturist, and gardener, I deeply honor the wisdom found in the natural world, which our bodies are a part of. Furthermore, as a hobby artist, I enjoy making all aspects of life a form of art including the art of bodywork. Intuition and creativity are a big part of the quality holistic healthcare I have to offer.

My husband Tom, who grew up in East Ridge, relocated us back to his home in Chattanooga in 2022. As I followed him and his career in the Forest Service back to Tennessee, I now am excited to discover all that Chattanooga and the lush and beautiful surrounding areas have to offer! After living in the Pacific Northwest for so long, I welcome the experience of the four seasons and deciduous trees once again, which reminds me a lot of my home in Germany.
